A traffic accident on the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway at 63rd km towards Rijeka (driving speed limit of 60 km/h)! A traffic accident on the DC8 Adriatic road at Bratuš (Promajna-Krvavica) - one lane is free only! Roads are wet and slippery throughout the country. Rock sliding is possible. Traffic is dense in cities and on their bypass roads, especially on the A3 Zagreb bypass road between Buzin and Zagreb zapad junctions in direction Bregana. During the day difficulties can occur in roadwork areas - at the Šibenik bridge, at Pasjak, at Podstrana. Due to roadwork traffic is suspended on the A2 Zagreb-Macelj motorway between Krapina and Trakošćan junctions in both directions, detour: DC1 state road. On the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway at Orehovica junction traffic is suspended from direction Zagreb towards Trsat (Rijeka centar) until 7 June, detour: Čavle junction-ŽC5205-DC3-Rijeka-Rijeka istok junction (A7)-DC404-Rijeka. Drivers are invited to adjust the driving speed and the way of driving to road conditions and to keep the safety distance! Traffic restrictions: A1 Zagreb-Ploče-Karamatići motorway: -until 3 May at the entrance of Posedarje junction traffic is suspended in direction Split, detour from direction Pag/Novigrad/Posedarje: DC8/DC106 state roads-Zadar centar junction; -24 April 10pm-4am traffic is closed between Vučevica and Split junctions in both directions, detour: DC56 state road; - until 20 May 10pm-6am traffic is occasionally suspended for 15 minutes at the entrance of Zadar istok junction; -until 31 May at Jastrebarsko junction in direction Dubrovnik traffic is flowing in reduced lanes; -until 14 June at Vršci viaduct at 148th km between Perušić and Otočac junctions (including the Plasina tunnel) one lane is free only in each direction; A2 Zagreb-Macelj motorway: -until 3 May traffic is suspended between Krapina and Trakošćan junctions in both directions, detour: DC1 state road; -one lane is free only between Sveti Križ Začretje and Zabok junctions 29th-34th km until 15 June; A3 Bregana-Lipovac motorway: -at Zagreb zapad junction on the A3 Zagreb bypass road one lane is free only in both directions; -until 24 May at Zagreb (Plitvice) rest area 16th-17th km traffic is flowing in reduced lanes in both directions (driving speed limit of 80 km/h); -until 27 May between Lužani and Slavonski Brod zapad junctions 193rd-196th km one lane is free only in direction Bregana (driving speed limit of 80 km/h); -until 7 June between Nova Gradiška and Lužani junctions 167th-173rd km one lane is free only in both directions; A4 Zagreb-Goričan motorway: -until 16 May 72nd-68th km one lane is free in each direction; traffic is suspended at the entrance of Komin junction in direction Goričan, detour: DC3 state road through Breznički Hum; -until 30 April 8pm-6am traffic is occasionally suspended for about 15 minutes between Ludbreg junction and Ludbreg paytoll in direction Zagreb due to abnormal load; -until 26 April between Novi Marof and Varaždinske Toplice junctions 41st-39th km, 38th-36th km (including Hrastovec and Vrtlinovec tunnels) traffic is proceeding in one lane only in each direction (driving speed limit of 60 km/h); -until 7 June between Čakovec and Ludbreg junctions 25th-19th km one lane is free only in both directions; A5 Beli Manastir-Osijek motorway: -until 31 May one lane is free only 74th-77th km in both directions; A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway: -at Orehovica junction traffic is suspended from direction Zagreb towards Trsat (Rijeka centar) until 7 June, detour: Čavle junction-ŽC5205-DC3-Rijeka-Rijeka istok junction (A7)-DC404-Rijeka; -at Sopač tunnel in direction Zagreb one lane is free only; -at Lazi viaduct at 21st km between Vrbovsko and Ravna Gora junctions in direction Rijeka one lane is free only 23 April-7 June; A7 Rupa-Rijeka-Žuta Lokva motorway: -until 14 June at Orehovica junction one lane is free only from direction Krk towards Zagreb and Rupa, from direction Rupa towards Zagreb, from direction Zagreb towards Krk; A8/A9 motorway in Istria: - due to roadwork at Učka tunnel there is a traffic ban on vehicles wider than 3 m between Veprinac junction and Učka tunnel in both directions; -due to roadwork at Lovrinčići viaduct there is a traffic ban on vehicles wider than 3 m from Lupoglav towards Cerovlje; -between Lupoglav and Veprinac junctions temporary traffic signalization is in operation due to roadwork; DC1 Solin-Klis highway: -until 23 April at Mravince tunnel one lane is free only in both directions; DC8 Adriatic road: -one lane is free only at Pasjak until 15 June, at Matulji until 26 April, at Senj until 28 April, at Zaton near Šibenik until 15 May, at Primošten until 1 May, at Strožanac until 30 April, at Brela until 30 April, at Duće until 15 May, at Lozica until 15 June; -24 and 25 April 10pm-6am traffic is suspended between Prapratno and Zaton Doli junctions; DC44 state road: -until 15 June traffic is suspended between Ponte Porton and Livade/Motovun intersection; DC56 state road: -until 10 July at Skradin bridge (Plitvice lakes National Park entrance) one lane is free only; DC116 state road (island of Hvar): -at Bogomolja traffic is proceeding in one lane only; -29 April-10 May traffic is suspended at Selca-Dubovica tunnel.

Border crossings - Wed, 24 Apr 2024 18:26:29 GMT

In outbound freight traffic there can be delays at the border crossings with Slovenia, especially at Bregana and Macelj. At the Ilok-Bačka Palanka bridge traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 24 tonnes (driving speed limit of 30 km/h). From 3 July 2023 international passenger traffic is suspended at the Bogovljana-Hadžin Potok border crossing. Freight traffic is suspended at the Tovarnik/Šid border crossing, detour: Bajakovo border crossing. Traffic is suspended for vehicles whose maximum weight exceeds 7,5 tonnes at the Pribanjci-Vinica border crossing on the DC204 state road. The Dvor and Vitaljina border crossings are open for pedestrians and passenger traffic only. The Gunja border crossing is closed for freight and bus traffic due to instability of the bridge. The border crossings for the international maritime traffic are: Umag, Pula, Mali Lošinj, Vis, Ubli and Cavtat (Book of Regulations on border crossings of the Republic of Croatia, pubblished at the Narodne novine, 2 January 2023).

Dubrovnik-Koločep-Lopud-Suđurađ ferry does not operate. On other lines there are no difficulties. On the line Split-Vela Luka-Ubli (departure Split at 3pm) Lastovo ferry is operating (garage height 3,80 m).
